I was in the carpool lane and got pullled over. The officer informed me he was checking passengers in the carpool lane and then proceeded to ticket me for my window tint, which he felt was too dark. Is there any way to fight this? I really don't have the time (or money) to deal with this right now. Seems petty when there are people out there commiting real crimes!Does anyone have experience fighting a fix it ticket for a window tint?
There are devices readily available that will determine the amount of tint that your vehicle has. Sure you can fight anything charged against you but expect to get fought back. If the court determines that the tint needs to be removed expect a large bill. To remove tint film is far more labor intensive than installing.Does anyone have experience fighting a fix it ticket for a window tint?
Some of my friends have had the same problem. They told me you can take your car to a tint shop and they will pull off the tint. Then go have your car cleared by the police (showing them you've fixed it) and then the go back to the tint shop. They will be able to put the same piece of tint back on your windows. Good luck!Does anyone have experience fighting a fix it ticket for a window tint?
wel l if he said it was too dark then its a good chance it is only way of fixing it might be you get a person that does tinting for a living and have them say if its good or bad tint job and then go to court with the paper
I will assume you purchased this vehicle with the windows already tinted. If so, the vehicle must be manufactured that way %26amp; If you can prove it you shouldn't have an issue. If you or someone else tinted them then you may be fined.
