We are biased but to be fair I will list the choices, but do your own homework!
FormulaOne Pinnacle film is light yet still reduces heat by factoring out IR check http://www.formulaone.com
Huper Optik Ceramic Film at http://www.huperoptikusa.com
Madico has a new film Winco , http://www.madico.com
Very light films in VLT yet more than 50% heat rejection and 99.9% UV for all the films above.
Last I checked yes and no. Yes, Extreme Make over home edition did a thing on a girl that is very sensitive to the sun and they tinted the house windows with clear uv film.
No I have not seen auto grade uv film that is clear, but very low tint color. Try Lowe's for the house stuff and E-bay for the auto grade. Hope this helpsIs there such a thing as a "clear window tint" that blocks and protects against UV rays?
Yes. It works a lot like the polarization on sunglasses. You should be able to find it at your corner auto parts store. Many cars (especially those with very large windows like vans) already have UV protection on the windows.
Purchase some 50% window tint. It's BARELY noticeable, and will filter out most harmful UV rays. You could probably have a shop install some for under $20.Is there such a thing as a "clear window tint" that blocks and protects against UV rays?
Yes! While not completely clear, it would not obstruct your view in anyway! Your local car parts store should have it with the window tints and such! Good luck!
its called solar tint some cars that have the rear windows on dark tint and the front doesnt look like it has it will more than likely have it
