There are small bubbles that aren't that noticeable when you just glance at the window, but if you take the time to look you can see there are lots of fine air bubbles. Now my car got tinted almost 3 years ago. If I just take it the way it is now would I be rejected from a retint? Or should I try to make the bubbles bigger purposely? Do I use a blow drier or something? How do i make my window tint bubble on purpose?
Lifetime is lifetime and the champagne bubbles (that's what we call them) are reason enough for a re-do at no cost. The warranty typically is issued by the window film manufacturer rather than the dealer that did the job, so the re-do is being compensated by the issuer. No need to load the dice! How do i make my window tint bubble on purpose?
it depends on what kind of guarantee or warranty the people that did the tint gave you... after 3 years, I would imagine you wont get anything from them regardless of the size of the bubbles... you should call them and find out before you try to make it look worse...How do i make my window tint bubble on purpose?
I doubt very much that they will do anything after 3 yrs., they probably only give a year warranty, you will have to rip all the old off and have it redone if it bothers you.
