Window tint???????????????????????

I have a 2008 ford focus ses. it is black...

should i get window tint? i was thinking like 5% in the back windows and 20% in the front... tips?Window tint???????????????????????
check your local laws first, window tint is regulated and could earn you a fix it ticket if you are too dark....

one other point, you have it backwards you want darker in the back, not the front...Window tint???????????????????????
If anything m8, u should do it the other way around, lighter at the front, darker at the back.Window tint???????????????????????
You had better find out what is legal in your state before tinting.

I know that Iowa will allow lower numbers in the rear of a car.

I install window tint as a side job and I know that some cops can be pretty touchy about it.

If you still want to go as dark as you said I have seen cars that dark and it is rather hard to see at night or even worse on a rainy night.

You should consider all aspects of tint before you go ahead.
yes you should tint the windows, tint cuts the amount of UV light the causes the interior to fade with age. but before you tint the windows, yuo do need to check the local laws regarding window tint. for example here in arizona the darkest you can go on the front windows is 35%. for the rear windows i would go with 15% as that way you can still see well at night while eliminating most of the glare you get from headlights. and yes i have gone with limo(5%) tint and it really is hard to see out of at night.

overnightdeejay, window tint is rated in how much light it allows through, thus 35% tint allows 35% of light through the tint and 5% tint only allows 5% light transmission through the tint. thus the 5% tint is much darker than the 35% tint
