Is static cling window tint safe to use?

I seen this in a magazine and I'm thinking about buying it to put on my windows to keep some of the sun out of my eyes, and also cool my room a little more.



The description reads:

" This tinted window insulator stops sun glare, helps insulate against the heat and protects your drapes and furniture from fading. Simply press the reusable vinyl film onto your window and trim to fit. Static cling holds it firmly in place and makes it easy to remove with no sticky residue."



Will this harm my windows? Would it be worth it?Is static cling window tint safe to use?
no it wont harm it and it is worth it in the long run
