I reside in west Texas. I received a citation for illegal window tint and was told by the state trooper if i stripped the tint, the ticket would be dismissed. I stripped the tint and went to the judge and they say the ticket is dismissed but I still owe them $103.20? Is this right? Had I known I would have to pay this much even though I stripped the tint, I would have left it on there! Any insight is appreciated.|||That might be for court cost and fee's... IMHO i would ask the city clerk off what the 103.20 is...
Right IDK, but if you look up the State tint laws and go from there...|||you have free speech and a right to get a lawyer
