Is it true installing car tint on a home window will break the home window?

Why?

Is there a window tint film that won't break home window then?|||That depends upon the type of glass on your home and the amount of Sun and shade hitting the glass.

Car tints have a different adhesive and typically can absorb more heat. Home films are typically reflective and are safer for insulated glass units.

There are many residential window films designed to keep the UV and heat out and are completely safe for your glass. Try Vista Films at http://www.vista-films.com|||It sometimes breaks cause home windows don't have shatter proof windows cars have. When sun hits it, window expands but tint film don't. So there's the discrepancy. And this discrepancy causes windows to break.

NO ONE SHOULD LIVE OFF OF RENTING.|||Window tinting is just a film that sticks to the glass - it won't break it at all.|||no
