Is it possible to add window tint on a car without removing the old one?

my trucks rear window is tinted, but its not that dark of a tint. And i wanted it to look like a Limo tint where no light goes through. So i was thinking if i could add more film right over it? Would this work?Is it possible to add window tint on a car without removing the old one?
Yes it is possible to add another tint. No it will not bubble and no it will not look horrible. Do it. It was on my truck when I bought it and it was dark. I wanted to remove it and change to a lighter one. As i started to remove it there was another under it. Lucky me I removed only the top and it was a perfect shade.
It's just easier to remove the old tint and put on pure limo tint easiest way I found how to get tint off is to get a corner peeled just a little bit not verymuch needed then take a spray bottle with a water and soap mixture and spray the window and put a plastic bag and tape it along the window give it a few hours because you want it to get very humid under the bag then attempt to peel the tint off it should come off very easy good luck on itIs it possible to add window tint on a car without removing the old one?
dont do it, it will look terrible and most likely bubble badly, try using a heat gun on a gentle setting and remove the light tint, then clean your window with a good cleaner to remove any residue, grab your self some darker tint and re apply, you will end up with a much nicer job.
no you won't get good results. use a hairdryer to warm old film to remove. don' get it too hot though i've seen people crack the glass by heating it too much.get an edge loose and use a razor and water to peal it off.Is it possible to add window tint on a car without removing the old one?
would be horrible!!

if you know how to do tinting, you can remove it and add limo tint (5% tint) .

or go to a tinting place, and tell them
